There are simply an abundance of really wonderful experiences, activities, walks, cycles, attractions and things to do at each one of our six hotels. Here we have selected our favourite one for each hotel – but it was very difficult to choose! Click on each hotel to find a host of fun and exciting suggestions for each of our six great locations.

Sligo town – Sligo Southern Hotel:

Just a short drive from the Sligo Southern this is the ideal rainy or summers day attraction for families of all ages – from teenagers to toddlers there really is something for all the family – including the Tree Canopy Walk, the 19th Century Servant Tunnels, Boda Borg (a unique challenge based experience), Lakeside Café, Adventure Play Kingdom and wonderful Forest & Parkland Trails. A must see in Sligo.

Dublin - The Dublin Skylon Hotel - Croke Park

Irelands largest and most iconic sporting arena, Croke Park is conveniently located only 2kms (10 minute walk) from The Skylon Hotel. The recently opened rooftop tour and highly rated museum in Croke Park offer a fun filled family day out, suitable for all ages. Walk in the footsteps of legends as you visit the team dressing rooms before going pitchside and taking a seat in the VIP area. Enjoy panoramic views from the top tier of the stand – 30 meters above the famous pitch.
Explore the museum with its new exhibition galleries that vividly illustrate the story of Gaelic games from ancient times to the present day. Test your own hurling and football skills in the interactive games zone – a must for museum visitors of all ages!

Rosses Point - Yeats Country Hotel – Sea adventure on the Atlantic Ocean

We have teamed up with local man Darryl Ewing of Ewing Charters to offer a variety of different adventure holidays. As a native of Rosses Point, an experience sailor and fisherman with a huge local knowledge, Darryl is a fantastic guide. The boat departs from the promenade in Rosses Point, just 3 minutes’ walk away. At the Yeats Country Hotel we will arrange your trip to help you enjoy seal spotting, fishing and a variety of other activities to enjoy the beauty of the peninsula in the shadows of Benbulban and Knocknarea and surrounded by the stunning and ever changing Atlantic Ocean.

Westport - Westport Woods - Westport House & Pirate Adventure Park

Recently voted one of the Best Family Visitor Attractions in Ireland Westport House provides the ultimate family day out.

Primarily an outdoor attraction for families with children under 12, this really is a whole family day out with rides, slide, boats, trains, go karts, indoor soft play area, pitch & putt, bouncy castles and playgrounds. In addition, Westport House provides both fun and learning through its Grace O’Malley Children’s Tour, Dungeon Experience, funny mirror, Paint your own Pottery and more. You can see Westport House from the Westport Woods Hotel – and there is so much to do you may want to visit more than once!

Bundoran - Holyrood Hotel

There are so many things to do and see at Bundoran it is a paradise for children and parents alike. However, our favourite is based on simplicity – a traditional family fun day on the Blue Flag Bundoran beach, just across the road from the Holyrood Hotel. Whether it is buckets and spades, a stick of rock, a stroll along the sandy dunes, a game of volleyball or surfing or sea kayaking – the beach is simply beautiful and offers every age a haven of fun and happiness.
And just if the sun is too hot or there is a rain shower – you can always pop to Bundoran Adventure Park is one of the Holyrood Hotel’s younger guests firm favourites for an afternoon of laughter and excitement. There is a great selection of rides for both the thrill seeking and little ones alike, adventure golf, bumper cars, go karts and an amusement arcade.

Bundoran – Great Northern Hotel

Bundoran Waterworld: Ireland’s award-winning indoor Aqua Adventure Playground is located on the sea front in Bundoran Co. Donegal, an enjoyable walk from the Great Northern Hotel. Waterworld provides hours of fun for the all the family with its 5 pattern Wave Machine, 2 speed Rapids and children’s water features, Slide Pool with Tornado Flume, Twister Flume and Snake shower spray. For the adventurous try the Whizzer Slide - the fastest water slide in Ireland or the Gravity Speed Slide. There is also a 3 lane multi slide, pirate galleon ship and toddlers pool. Guaranteed fun and happy moments!
Or for the teenagers the Donegal Adventure Centre provides Surf lessons, Kayak lessons, Climbing, Abseiling, Orienteering, Hillwalking, Archery, High Ropes course, Cliff Jumping, and Canoeing. There is an activity or challenge to suit all teenagers.
